About brightTV
brightTV is run by [Company legal name] (ABN [ABN]). It comes free with your [Catalogue partner name] catalogue. These terms start on [Date this starts].
Free to use
brightTV is free. You pay only for your own internet.
You cannot buy anything on brightTV. If you order a product you saw here, you order it from the business that sells it, under its own terms.
Signing in
You can watch without signing in. To keep your place, get a friend code or have a family helper, you sign in with your phone number or your customer number.
Keep your sign-in codes to yourself. We will never ask you for a code, by phone or any other way.
More about your account
Two people who share one phone number share one account.
You stay signed in on a device for 6 months after your last visit. If you lose a device, choose "Sign out on all my devices" on My account, or call us.
You can stop using brightTV at any time. Call us if you'd like us to delete your account.
We may pause or close an account that is used to break these terms, to cheat friend codes or to harm other people. If we do, we will tell you why, unless the law stops us.
For your own viewing
The videos are for you and your household to watch at home.
Please do not copy, download, record or share the videos, show them to a paying audience, or try to get around how the website works. Others own the videos and let us show them to you.
Exercise classes
This is general exercise content. Check with your doctor before starting a new routine. Stop if you feel any discomfort.
The classes are not medical advice or treatment. Go at your own pace. Use a sturdy chair or something steady to hold on to when a class suggests it, and keep the floor around you clear.
Stories
Our stories are short dramas in English. Many were first made in another language and are voiced in English. Each story shows its rating, G or PG, and a short note about what is in it. See "About ratings".
Products and ads
Some things on brightTV are ads or catalogue products. They are marked "Sponsored". See "Advertising and sponsorship".
The business that sells a product is responsible for it, its price and its delivery. We do not sell anything ourselves.
Family helpers
A family helper may help only with the permission of the person they help, and only in that person's interest. The person can remove a helper at any time. We may remove a helper who misuses brightTV.
Friend codes
Friend codes and vouchers have their own rules. See "Friend code rules".
Friends
You need to be 18 or over to use Friends.
Add only people you know. Adding a friend never earns a voucher or any other reward.
Please don't use Friends to annoy, pressure or trick anyone. If someone blocks or reports you, we may pause Friends on your account while we look into it, and we will tell you why if you call us.
Groups
A group is for people who already know each other, such as a class or a club, with 3 to 8 people. You need to be 18 or over to join or start one.
If you start a group, you look after it: you say yes or no to people who ask to join, you choose the weekly goal, and you can remove someone. Please give the group code only to people you know, in person or on the phone. Please don't use a group to sell anything, collect money or ask for personal details.
The weekly goal is a gentle aim for the whole group. Nothing happens if a group does not reach it, and there are no prizes.
If you leave, the person who joined first after you looks after the group. We may close a group, or pause groups on an account, if a group is used to annoy, pressure or trick anyone, and we will tell you why if you call us.
Changes to brightTV and these terms
We may add, change or remove videos and features. Some videos are only available for a time.
If we change these terms in an important way, we'll put a note on the home page before the change starts.
Your rights under Australian law
Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
If something goes wrong
We work hard to keep brightTV running, but sometimes a video may not play or the website may be unavailable. If that happens, please try again later, or call us and we'll help.
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for loss caused by brightTV being unavailable, or by products and services sold by other businesses.
These terms are governed by the laws of [State or territory whose laws apply].
